The Prescott is Ottawa's oldest sports bar

On a September day in 1934, Antonio Disipio established the Preston Hotel from his Preston Street home. Although the windows on the front read “Purveyors of Beer and Wine”, Antonio’s kitchen became famous for it’s meatball sandwiches, pasta dishes and unique and original square pizzas.

A Preston Street Tradition
The Preston Hotel (renamed Prescott in 1941) was the first hotel when entering Ottawa via the Prescott Highway and consequently the last when leaving. Hence our nickname, “The Last Chance” was born and still used by many of our customers today.

Visit us in Little Italy
Our home has changed with expansion over the years but the tradition of our hearty Italian food and our famous square pizza continues today.

Buono Appetito.
A. Disipio
